JOHNNY Aldridge, along with guest John Larson, proved to be the perfect combination as they scored an impressive 45 stableford points to win the first Masters Invitational event at the Emirates Golf C
Runnes-up Stuart Hunter and Colin Foster with EGC captain Jim Carrigy
Coming in second, through way of a better back 6 of 14 points, with 37 points total, were Colin Foster and Stuart Hunter.
It was a fairly consistent round with pars and bogeys, with a sole birdie on hole 6, however it was the 3 bogeys and 3 pars that kept them alive. Blaine Gallant smashed the longest drive of the day on hole 12, while +-Sungah Han eyed in for nearest to the pin award on hole 7.
