The Montgomerie, Dubai welcomes its new General Manager, Ray Metz, who has been heading up the award winning facility since mid September.

Previous successful tenures included 2 years managing Cabo del Sol Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a 36-hole facility which was voted one of the ‘100 Best Golf Courses in the World’ by Golf Magazine from 1994 through 2007. In addition, Ray oversaw the pre-opening and operation of Maderas Golf Club in San Diego California.

Throughout his career, Ray has strived to achieve an unparalleled level of guest service, agronomy standards and overall experience at each of the facilities he has managed by implementing the Troon Golf benchmarks proven to be successful at over 185 properties throughout the world.

Ray has been married to Peggy Kellum for 15 years and Dubai will be their third international posting after being stationed in Mexico and Aruba. Both are delighted to be here and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to live and engage in the different cultures of the world.
