Membership validity

As of January 2010 the EGF membership period will be for a calendar year ie., 1st January to 31st December.

Membership Fee

Effective from 1st January 2010, EGF membership fee will be as follows.

Handicap Scheme - Adult**	Dhs. 795/- per annum
Handicap Scheme - Junior (under 18)	Dhs. 100/- per annum
Affiliate - Adult	Dhs. 200/- for a quarter Renewable once for a quarter for additional Dhs. 200/-
Affiliate - Junior	Not Available
Replacement Card	Dhs.30/-

** Handicap Scheme members with validity upto July 2010 will be offered pro rata rate upon renewal in January 2010 - please see table below,

Fee applicable for New Handicap Scheme memberships would be on quarterly ceiling as below

Golfers Card

The new handicap system will be introduced to maintain the handicaps of UAE golfers as of 1st January 2010. It is an internet based programme and will follow USGA system.

Privileges of EGF are generally golf related and include:

1. Privileged rates for green fees at UAE golf clubs
2. Privileged prices on range balls at selected clubs in UAE golf clubs
3. Privileged access to Professional Golf Tournaments held in the U.A.E.
4. In addition to the above privileges, Handicap Scheme members receive an official handicap (conditions apply) administered along the guidelines of USGA handicap system, which is accepted worldwide for handicap purposes.
